Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Pathcast. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
1. The service
Pathcast is a trip-planning tool for hiking and mountain biking: gear management, route planning, checklists and AI-assisted suggestions.
2. Provider
The service is provided by Serpent Development, ul. Tulipanów 7, 43-440 Goleszów, lkubok@gmail.com.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- abuse, overload or attempt to circumvent the limits or security of the service;
- use automated means to access the service beyond the provided interface;
- upload unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights;
- use the service to harm others.
5. Safety disclaimer and AI output
Outdoor activities are dangerous. Routes, verdicts, weights, checklists and AI suggestions are informational aids and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for your preparation, route choice, equipment and decisions on the trail, and for checking weather, conditions and local rules.
6. Your content and share links
You keep ownership of your content. You grant us the limited right to store and process it to provide the service. If you share a trip link, you are responsible for what it shows.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or discontinue features, including usage limits on AI features, and will update these terms when needed.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect losses or for damage resulting from reliance on routes or suggestions.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Poland, without depriving consumers of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. EU consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
